Overview
We're looking to hire an experienced professional with residential leasing and managerial experience, specifically in the NYC market. This person will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, and have a strong grasp of the NYC rental market, leasing agent dynamics, and residential marketing. The right candidate will play a key role in supporting and growing a diverse residential portfolio of 3,000+ units.
🏡 What You'll Do
- Oversee daily leasing operations including marketing, workflows, and overall portfolio strategy.
- Lead a team of 8 leasing agents through regular check-ins, reporting, and performance guidance.
- Create and present leasing summaries and monthly competitive reports for the asset management team.
- Coordinate property management needs: conduct monthly property walkthroughs, track move-ins, and report issues.
- Manage the renewal process in collaboration with leasing administration staff.
- Direct marketing initiatives: coordinate unit photography, update listings and websites, and onboard new properties.
- Liaise with third-party brokerages to schedule showings, guide pricing, and generate business opportunities.
- Review and approve lease applications and agent invoices.
- Contribute to special projects including software rollouts and ad-hoc reporting.

🎒 What It Takes
- 5+ years of residential leasing experience in the NYC market.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments like asset and property management.
- Experience with platforms like Yardi, On-Site, and CRM tools.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, entrepreneurial, and proactive attitude.
- Willingness to be responsive outside of typical business hours.
- Valid NY Real Estate Salesperson License or Associate Broker license preferred.
