Our client, an AMLaw 100 firm located in the financial district seeks a Senior Real Estate Finance Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate finance experience. In this role, you will provide legal support for commercial real estate finance transactions including mortgage, mezzanine and construction loans for all commercial asset classes, representing commercial and investment banks and other regulated and non-regulated lenders. This is a hybrid position. Salary 150K-160K.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinating real estate finance (mortgage and mezzanine loan) closings
- Ordering UCC/litigation/judgment/bankruptcy searches
- Preparation and filing of UCC financing statements
- Assembly and distribution of transaction documents
- Delivery of closing documents to title companies for recording
- Assembly and distribution of closing sets
- Custodial deliveries and attention to client post-closing protocols
Experience And Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and ability to follow complex instructions
- Ability to interact in a professional, cooperative and tactful manner with clients, co-workers and transaction parties
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, computer and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work overtime as required.
- Proficiency following orientation and training in Word, Outlook, iManage, Excel and other firm applications
BA/BS with a minimum of 5 years commercial real estate finance experience.
