A large commercial and consumer bank is looking for an Escrow Clerk to join their Residential Mortgage Servicing organization. This team handles some aspects of mortgage servicing operations and is broken down into 3 teams— Customer Service, Escrow Clerks and Payoffs. This person will be handling various inquiries and adminstrative functions for escrow clients and the related insurance companies. They will be ensuring that all the insurance details for escrow clients is documented correctly and properly set up in the system. Responsibilities will include: - This person wil be responsible for making phone calls to customer and to insurance firms to ensure they have the proper insurance information documented. - They will be updating vendors with the proper information. - They will provide quality control on any new loans that have been set up in the sytem. This will entail ensuring the loan has all the right information and is set up properly in the system. - For any insurance policy changes, this person will be a liason between the client and insurance companies to get the updated coverage on file. - They will monitoring emails for any other changes to mortgages and ensuring a timely response. - Lastly, they will assist with any additional escrow tasks including, past due reports, disbursing payments, ad hoc projects.
