Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all aspects of building operations and maintenance of commercial properties.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing their queries or concerns promptly and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Prepare and present detailed and accurate financial reports on a regular basis.
- Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets.
- Oversee vendor management, including contract negotiation, compliance, and performance evaluation.
- Participate in lease negotiations and manage lease administration.
- Ensure timely collection of rents and manage arrears.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition, identify necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders including leasing agents, property owners, and maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial property management is required.
- Proven experience in tenant relations, financial reporting, operations management, budgeting, vendor management, lease negotiations, rent collection, property inspections, lease administration, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to prepare budgets and financial reports.
- Solid understanding of real estate leases and contract law.
- Proficient in property management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- A degree in Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certification in Property Management will be a plus.
