MortgageRight is looking to add a STRONG, EXPERIENCED full-service Processor to join our team. Our Corporate Headquarters are located in Birmingham Alabama, and we have branches nationwide and are licensed in 47 states and are still growing!
The Loan Processor reports to and collaborates with Loan Officer(s) in performing activities related to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA mortgage loan closings. Must be able to handle the pressure and upbeat environment of a very busy mortgage company and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high quality of customer service. Must have superior customer service skills and be detail oriented and self-motivated.
Duties And Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
- Work with Loan Officers to ensure timely completion of mortgage process and enhance the experience of clients, whether they are first time home buyers or refinancers.
- Verify completion of loan package and review the submission checklist for submission to investor.
- Perform a thorough front-end review and analysis of borrower’s credit, employment, income and assets as required by the particular program before submitting the file to the underwriter.
- Be accountable for assigned responsibilities and work alongside Loan Officer(s) and Underwriters to ensure all conditions are met for underwriting and closing.
- Review loan approvals and handle all required conditions for underwriting and closing.
- Assist in updating lending policies and procedures as necessary.
- Remain well versed in market trends, home loan products and the mortgage process.
- Assist closing, secondary and servicing obtain and clear outstanding suspense items from our investors.
- Manage loan pipeline: conduct underwriting analysis and credit analysis with information collected
- Represent the MortgageRight brand by incorporating unparalleled customer service with a professional demeanor.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- 3+ years of Mortgage Processing experience
- Recent experience using Encompass LOS
- Post TRID knowledge
- Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA underwriting guidelines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
