Cirrus Real Estate Credit Fund is an investor in value-add credit opportunities with a focus on the refinancing, restructuring and redevelopment of high-quality real estate. CRECF invests across the debt capital stack on behalf of institutional investors seeking superior risk adjusted returns.
As part of the investment team, the potential candidate will assist the head of asset management with strategic decisions to protect and maximize the value of existing investments of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments to identify potential risks and resolve asset-level issues
- Communicate directly with Sponsors of existing investments to ensure implementation of business plan
- Alongside the investment team, prepare and maintain financial models for on-going cash flow projections and valuations of individual assets and portfolio-based analysis
- Evaluate recapitalization, restructuring and other exit scenarios for existing investments
- Conduct due diligence on existing investments including market research, construction and operational budget analysis and site visits
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reporting of asset performance and business plan execution
- Support the asset management team in all aspects
Education, Qualifications and Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint;
- 3-5 years of real estate investment and asset management experience with structured credit investments, including subordinate debt, and construction and development financing
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university
- Strong writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of excellent follow-through and accountability
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Desire to collaborate with CRECF investment team and investor relations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and a self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
