About the Position
The Sample Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all sample trafficking across multiple departments. A team player with the ability to work independently and problem solve is key to success. Attention to detail, incredible organization and strong follow-up skills as necessary. This role reports directly to the VP of Fashion, Concept, and Surface Design.
A day in the life…
- After IFS review begin to prep decks for in-house and E-Commerce shoot. Organizing CADs, PowerPoints, inspiration shots, etc.
- Work on models/scheduling with VP Fashion and Concept leading up to E-Commerce shoot days.
- Stay in touch with designers, Sample Room, and Product Development on sample status, fixes, arrivals through completion of E-Commerce shoot.
- Ensure all samples are ready to send to Philadelphia Studio for start of E-Commerce shoot.
- Upon Completion of E-Commerce shoot, ensure sample line is fully re-tagged and inventoried to pass to wholesale.
- Potentially go to E-Commerce Shoots 2-3 days to re-organize racks and samples throughout the process.
- Maintain contact with wholesale needs and understand their calendar. Work with PD to understand when new Samples arrive and alert appropriate teams.
- Inventory and organize after each team, design, wholesale, campaign comes back to KOP with the sample line.
- Understand all needs and status of samples for reshoot days.
- Upload walking videos in Dropbox for Joor for Wholesale Prior to Business meeting.
- Organize photos from photographer daily/nightly throughout the weeks of shooting.
- Prepare all reshoot day decks and pull all samples for reshoot days.
- Dry cleaning as needed after shoots.
- Additionally, vintage sample coordinator----organize and photograph vintage samples on dress form, white seamless and upload and tag using archive site, ongoing during weeks outside of photography/sample prep.
- Note, associates may be asked to perform duties outside the specific functions listed.
Qualifications for the Position
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in fashion related field.
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Desire to contribute to a positive, solution-oriented and progressive work environment
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Resourceful, efficient and a self-starter
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

A Little More to Know…
- This position is classified as full-time hourly; it is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.
- This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor. The position requires some domestic travel.
- Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
- This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
