Position Summary
The Associa Corporate Real Estate Lease Project Manager will be responsible for providing project planning and oversight for corporate real estate projects such as office relocations, tenant improvements, office right-sizing (expansions or downsizes), construction, data cabling infrastructure, and IT equipment installation (routers, switches, UPS, etc).
Corporate Real Estate Project Management Responsibilities Shall Include
- Managing real estate projects involving space planning, construction, permitting, IT equipment & infrastructure, relocation coordination, etc.
- Coordinating office relocations with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists; hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers, and coordinate their schedules
- Visit sites regularly during construction — including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress visits, punch walks, and closeouts — and attend status and coordination meetings
- Placing orders for office FF&E and making sure they are installed on time.
- Financial reporting - tracking project budgets, creating POs, submitting expense reports.
- Adhering to Associa Corporate Real Estate standards.
- Preparing and updating weekly reports.
- Conducting recurring project meetings with multiple departments, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e. architectural/design, constructin, business, real estate, facilities/property management, technical trade/engineering) and 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-3 years of experience in construction management, project management, or facilities management
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Self-driven to complete all Associa Corporate Real Estate projects on time, on budget, and with the expected ROI.
- Able to independently manage a high volume of lease transactions at one time.
- Familiar with the commercial real estate industry with emphasis on office use.
- Must have strong Project Management skills.
- Comfortable meeting firm deadlines and budgets.
- Team-oriented with a proven ability to partner with multiple departments, groups, and individuals to get things done.
- Willing to travel when necessary.
- Proven ability to lead projects.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, corporate financial systems, and procurement.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding verbal, and written communication skills with all levels of an organization.
- Customer service mentality.
- Must be able to successfully work well with others in a team environment.
