About Us: Upgrade Energy is a fast-growing, American-manufactured battery startup. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an organized and proactive Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and gain experience in a variety of tasks that keep the company running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who is ready to learn, grow, and play an integral role in our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day operations, including scheduling, managing communications, and organizing workflows.
- ERP System Management: Support the implementation and operation of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Odoo based system, ensuring proper procedures are followed for tracking inventory, orders, and production.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries, such as order status, product availability, and other general questions.
- Data Entry & Organization: Maintain and update company records, manage invoices, sales orders, purchase orders, and production schedules.
- Office Management: Handle office supplies, equipment, and administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
- HR Support: Assist with employee onboarding, scheduling, and other human resource functions as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: Must be highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy in all aspects of the job.
- Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, and team members—both in writing and over the phone.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using software and tools for data entry and systems management. Previous experience with ERP systems is a plus but not required.
- College-Educated: A degree in any field is required, and the desire to grow within the company is key.
- Self-Motivated and Proactive: A go-getter who can take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
