Position SummaryWe are seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and resourceful Project Manager to join our Development team. This individual will play a key role in executing multifamily residential developments, with a particular focus on 700+ units currently in active land use approvals in South Florida and/or 950+ units in phased development in Orlando.
This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners while taking ownership of high-impact development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate all phases of development, including underwriting, acquisition, entitlement, preconstruction, construction oversight, lease-up, and disposition.
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets, underwriting models, loan terms, and cash flow forecasts.
- Support acquisition efforts by reviewing due diligence materials and contributing to financial analyses and investment analysis.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Oversee the selection and management of design consultants, including drafting RFPs, reviewing proposals, and negotiating contracts.
- Manage day-to-day communication with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors; maintain schedules, issue meeting notes, and track deliverables.
- Collaborate on marketing and lease-up strategies with internal and third-party teams.
- Coordinate the application and administration of development incentives (e.g., tax credits, grants, or government programs).
- Partner closely with construction teams to review budgets, track field progress, evaluate change orders, and ensure compliance with approvals and loan agreements.
- Prepare and present investor updates and reports as required.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (related work experience may be considered in lieu of advanced education).
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial or residential real estate development, with exposure to financial analysis and/or project management.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to interface effectively across all levels of stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology and project management tools to enhance performance.
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
