Job Details
- Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
- Support the Capital Assets Management team.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with space requests, site tours, space planning, contract negotiations, property management issues, and contract management. Make determinations on space allocation in accordance with administrative rules. *
- Assist customers with state space standards and procedures governing the real property leasing process; answer agency questions and assist with processes.*
- Conduct space audits and space reviews.*
- Draft, edit and review contracts, obtaining required attachments. *
- Ensure contract compliance with statutes, rules and process.*
- Conduct analysis of leases, rates and markets.*
- Approve lease rates and terms.*
- Review deeds, research records and develop chain of title, identifying title issues and facilitating resolution. *
- Receive, review, research and make determinations for easements, rights-of-way, and property information.*
- Act as agent for user agencies for real property acquisitions and disposals, including advertising and notices, location selection, preliminary location valuation, appraisal review, negotiations and closing.*
- Initiate deposits of revenues, invoicing, and track expense data for real property transactions and direct correct disbursement of funds.*
- Review contract purchase orders and related documents to check for completeness, verifying accuracy, and approve or correct as appropriate.
- Create presentations, excel reports, and draft correspondence as needed.
- Enhancement of rules, business processes, forms and procedures.
- Provide internal and external training.
- Organize, oversee, and complete projects.
- Represent agency, supervising official, or program area at meetings, conferences, or civic organizations.
- Schedule, organize, and coordinate activities with internal and external customers.
- May serve as a team leader on specific duties and projects.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three years’ experience in real estate related field, contracting, public administration or a combination of related expereince.
Level II
At this level, duties and responsibilities will be performed at an intermediate level. Employees will coordinate activities, both internal and external to the organization or program and may perform various administrative duties or other activities. To be considered for this level, a candidate must have an additional two years of expereince.
