Description of Work
The Recruitment & Salary Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and salary administration activities for entry level/high recruit positions, including Health Care Technician I Housekeeper, Food Services Assistant, LPNs, and RNs to name a few. Key duties and responsibilities include: reviewing, editing and posting job vacancies via NeoGov, screening and qualifying applicants, making recommendations for starting salaries and other salary administration actions, preparing hiring packets, attending recruitment events, collecting and analyzing data for the HR Manager and Classification and Compensation Analyst as well as processing of personnel actions in lieu of the Processing Assistant. This position works independently regarding the compliance of the hiring procedures set by DHHS/HR, and relays any problems to the Classification and Compensation Analyst and/or HR Manager. This position reports to the Classification and Compensation Analyst (Agency HR Consultant II).
Salary Grade NC07; Recruitment Range $35,984.00 - $62,971.00

- Experience with decision-making and communicating decisions.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Associate's degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and 1 year of experience required;
or
2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Degrees must be from appropriately accredited colleges or universities.
