Special Events Associate
Our client is a international research and educational nonprofit located in New York City. They are currently expanding their Events Department team and they are looking for a new Special Events Associate to join their team. This role requires both domestic & international travel.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed department schedule with deadline and milestones for events
- Coordinate Special Events department print schedules, liaison with corporate communication team
- Assist in planning & implementing new and ongoing Special Events programs & activities
- Assists with ticket/table inquiries and sales. Maintains guests list and seating requests. Work with management & execute event seating.
- Experience dealing with corporate sponsorships and serving as lead to ensure fulfillment of partnership deliverables.
- Monitor event expenses
- Assist with on-site venue set-up ensuring all vendors are adhering to timelines and approved floorplans.
Position is paying up to 65k
