Role Overview: As an HR Generalist, you will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth HR operations, especially in payroll and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US employment laws and regulations and be comfortable working with limited resources.
Responsibilities:
HR Life cycle Management:
- Manage the entire HR life-cycle, including recruitment, on boarding, employee relations, performance management, and off boarding.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Administer payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and promoting a supportive work environment.
HR Strategy & Initiatives:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Collaborate with management to identify and address HR needs and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
