Job Description
This position will deliver high-quality in-person and online training programs that foster learning and development across our organization. The ideal candidate will leverage virtual platforms, including but not limited to Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and digital whiteboards, to create an engaging and interactive learning environment for employees. This position is responsible for designing, facilitating, and assessing training sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of the organization, ensuring all participants are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to succeed.
Essential Functions
- Training Session Delivery: Deliver interactive and engaging in-person and virtual training sessions using a variety of platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, and digital whiteboards. Tailor training sessions to meet the needs of employees and ensure active participation in remote settings across different departments and roles. Responsible for the preparation of class materials and coordination of training classes.
- Training Materials Creation and Preperation: Design, develop, and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, manuals, and video content, to support training programs for a variety of modalities, including but not limited to in-person, virtual, and asynchronous learning experiences. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure materials meet learning objectives. Evaluate the effectiveness of virtual training programs through feedback surveys, knowledge checks, and monitoring engagement levels. Adjust training methods and content as necessary based on participant feedback and performance data.
- Collaboration & Trend Monitoring: Maintain liaison with and collaborate with all departments and key managers of the credit union to ensure the accuracy, currency, and consistency of all training materials. As needed sit in on stakeholder meetings and communicate key meeting notes to peers to ensure alignment and clarity of training/education initiatives. Monitor industry developments and trends to ensure effective utilization of learning practices. Help foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the credit union.
- Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications
Minimum Formal Qualifications For This Position
- Associate's Degree in Education, Communications, Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 4+ years' of experience creating and delivering virtual training in remote facilitation and e-learning platforms such as Zoom, Teams, or similar tools to include:
- 1+ years' experience in creating and using digital training tools (e.g., whiteboards, quizzes, polls, video content).
- 2+ years' formal training experience in a corporate/collegiate-level environment using adult-level techniques. Pref
Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.
Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of virtual facilitation, adult learning principles, and instructional design for online platforms.
- Ability to deliver virtual presentations and manage online classrooms.
- Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage learners in virtual settings.
- Ability to design and develop digital training content such as online courses, manuals, and multimedia resources.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training projects, deadlines, and priorities.
- Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs to meet learner needs.
- Familiarity with and the ability to utilize virtual training tools and software (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, whiteboards, and quizzes).
- Ability to provide clear and effective post-training support for learners.
- Familiarity with compliance training, financial regulations, and credit union operations.
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a remote work environment.
- Knowledge of and the ability to use Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms.
Certifications Required:

Additional Information
The pay ranges for the following positions:
Workforce Trainer II: $29.28 - $34.38 per hour (S14)
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.
This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
