Position Overview
Progressive Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support operations at our office and fabrication shop. This role involves assisting with material handling, shop organization, and general maintenance tasks. Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and moving materials in the shop
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of the shop, office, and surrounding areas
- Support fabricators and other team members with basic tasks as needed
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely
- Help load and unload deliveries
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a shop or warehouse setting is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to take direction and learn new tasks
- Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
