Job Title: US HR Generalist – 1
Location: New York, NY 10281
Duration: 2+ Months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid required 3 days a week in office
Schedule Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $25.64/hr.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administering all activities in a timely manner related to the U.S. Contingent Worker population including:
- Conducting and adjudicating background checks.
- Facilitating all onboarding requirements leading up to the new joiners first day.
- Completing offboarding processes.
- Tracking and updating various internal databases
- Assisting employees and managers as the main point of contact for any of their inquiries as well as providing support for escalated inquiries or concerns
- Assisting Hire & Onboarding team with weekly tasks and offer letters where applicabl
- Monitoring all incoming physical mail daily within the Human Resources office and distributing to the appropriate team members according to subject matter.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives across other HR disciplines.
- Maintaining the security access and schedule associated with the Wellness Room
- Responds to general employee inquiries within HR Case Management system within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
- Liaising with our Facilities team regarding the Bank’s offsite storage for historic employee data, requesting retrieval of and initiating new storage requests.
- Ensuring that all onsite HR materials are stored properly, and raising the need to replenish any stationary, branded material, office supplies, etc. based on inventory.
- Work with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis both locally and globally including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Immigration Counsel, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors.
- Ensures proper usage of desktop procedures, standard operating procedures, knowledge management and case management systems to effectively respond to, document and monitor service and transactional requests.
- Seeks opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and proposes recommendations to management.
- Additional ad-hoc duties and projects as they arise based on team needs and priorities.
Degrees or certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Must have Skills:
- 1-2 years of prior administrative experience (preferably in an HR capacity)
- Well-versed in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, handling multiple files with large data)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A high-achieving work ethic, actively identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attentive to details and deadlines
