Overview
Grossmont Pediatrics is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Lead to oversee and drive various projects within our organization.

If you have a strong project management, written/verbal/comprehension skills, and billing assistant background and positive/motivated to work in a professional and cooperative team, we would love to hear from you. In this position, we clearly outline tasks and priorities and review your progress on a reqular basis.

Responsibilities

Assist Billing Manager
EMR system: Epic (knowledge or ability to learn the EMR system)
Familiar with process of sending claims to insurance company - Detail Oriented.
Create and report KPIs (e.g., # of Claims sent/payer, # of clean claims/month, Denial reports, Denial reasons, etc. Billing Office productivity reports
Work on key project and assist clinic in establishing a smooth operation.
Assist clinic supervisors and team members in documenting key SOPs.
Create a master list and monthly calendar for: Key dates such as audits, equipment maintenance/calibration, Vendor contract renewal, etc.
Foster a collaborative team environment by providing leadership, guidance, and support.

Skills

Detail oriented. Follow direction. Strong comprehension skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency and strong knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
Know how to organize files.
Ensure that projects are completed on time. Follow up and complete tasks (e.g., Make sure invoices are paid).
Work closely with the Practice Administrator.
Excellent time management.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
