Summary
The Commercial Property Assistant will assist the Property Management team by supporting the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial office buildings. The Property Assistant will provide excellent customer service and support to tenants, build strong tenant relationships, maintain tenant and vendor contract files, coordinate work order requests and follow up with tenants, code and process property-related invoices, coordinate tenant move-ins/move-outs, and assist in planning tenant/building events. The Property Assistant will work closely with Property Accountants and the Property Manager to ensure financial transactions are detailed and accurate. A strong financial acumen is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of administrative support experience in commercial property management environment.
- Some college or commensurate work experience preferred.
- Strong financial acumen (AP/AR, budget, income statement, variance analysis).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database software.
- Experience with Real Estate/Property Management Software (MRI, Yardi, Avid etc.) is preferred, but not required.
