What's your day like?
As a new Housing Locator at EDEN, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assessing housing needs, researching available properties, and facilitating meetings with clients. You will actively screen potential housing options and assist clients with applications and paperwork. Building strong relationships with landlords and community resources will be pivotal to your success.

Monday through Friday, during regular business hours, giving you the opportunity to engage meaningfully with clients and the community. What Matters Most
To thrive as a Housing Locator at EDEN, you will need a strong foundation in housing services, with at least three years of experience in homeless and housing support. While a high school diploma is required, a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, providing you with the knowledge to navigate complex housing challenges effectively. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to form meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders.
A valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less and proof of insurance are essential, along with a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel. Familiarity with software and tools for case management and property searches will enhance your efficiency in this role. Additionally, certification in Housing Quality Standards (HQS) is preferred, and you will be required to complete this certification after being hired to ensure you meet organizational standards for quality and safety.
Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are
