Mellman & Mellman, LLP is a law firm located in downtown San Diego looking to hire an associate attorney with experience in real property litigation with an emphasis on landlord tenant law (evictions).
The firm primarily practices in the areas of landlord tenant law, family law, restraining orders, estate planning, and general civil litigation. The firm is looking for an associate who will primarily practice landlord tenant law.
The associate should be hard working, driven, self-motivated, have an outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and be able to communicate with clients, law firm staff, and the court. The associate position will involve a significant amount of court hearings. The associate should embrace litigation and expect to be in court on a regular basis. In addition, the associate should be a strong writer. In terms of court experience, the firm is looking for an attorney who can handle a case from inception through trial and manage an independent caseload. We long for a candidate who is well rounded and can excel both inside and outside the courtroom. This includes exceptional writing skills, prioritizing attention to detail, and caring tremendously about reputation and high quality work product.

At least two to three years experience is required. Compensation will correlate with experience.
