We are hiring a Junior Equity Analyst to join our team. The Firm’s Investment Committee relies on internally generated equity research reports to help inform decisions regarding client investments held primarily in separately managed accounts. This position will work with the investment team and portfolio managers.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare equity research reports based on fundamental research. This method requires reading 10-Ks, 10-Qs, reviewing company presentations, reviewing quarterly earnings calls, speaking with company management, and assessing valuation via free cash flow models and multiple-based valuation.
- Prepare separate research reports that focus on the sustainability attributes of companies held in client portfolios.
- Prepare notes highlighting the sustainable attributes of companies held within the firm’s mutual fund.
- Engage information from FactSet to monitor newsworthy items, earnings, and investment metrics on equities held within client portfolios. Distribute information within the Firm on an ongoing basis.
- Utilize FactSet to analyze portfolio attribution.
- Present investment ideas to clients.
- Support our shareholder engagement team in developing shareholder proposals and voting proxies.
Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's degree
- Interest in equity research and sustainable investing
- Articulate writing skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, members of the firm, and outside contacts
- CFA® designation or progress toward certification, preferred
- Experience using FactSet with knowledge of Portfolio Analysis for attribution, preferred
