NORTH TEXAS TOLLWAY AUTHORITY
Summary
The purpose of this position is to source, screen, and interview applicants for all positions in the agency. This is accomplished by developing hiring targets and goals, conducting candidate sourcing, reviewing, and processing applications, creating advertising, conducting, and coordinating interviews, preparing employment offers, and ensuring the application of all policies and procedures. Other duties include, representing the agency at recruiting functions, provide administrative support, and completing related projects.
- Starting Pay: $55,860 annually***
Responsibilities
- Sources, recruits, screens, interviews, and recommends external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs including entry level, experienced professional/technical, support staff and hourly, and possibly management.
- Utilizes the services of employment agencies. Places employment ads in appropriate sources, including the Internet and print media. May recruit from colleges, technical schools, and job fairs.
- Completes administrative tasks by collecting and processing applications, entering information, preparing, and submitting job postings, coordinating interviews, coordinating pre-employment processes, processing promotions and transfers, collecting and filing required forms, updating requisitions, and administering special programs.
- Provides resource information to departments and employees by interpreting and explaining agency policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and human resources benefits, assisting in the resolution of human resources matters, and following up on resolved issues, developing hiring goals and targets, and notifying departments of changes to recruiting processes.
- Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 – 5 years’ experience
Preferred
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft HRIS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
