Job Title: Portfolio Trader and Investment Associate

Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders related to portfolio rebalances and client cash flows
- Assign and communicate orders to brokers
- Monitor working orders and communicate with brokers/traders/portfolio managers on trading strategy
- Communicate allocation details to brokers and custodians
- Daily trade settlement and coordination with asset custodians
- Reconcile portfolio accounting data with custodians
- Monitoring and posting of client cash flows
- Monitor news events on portfolio holdings
- New account setup, maintenance and account closings
- Participates in meetings with senior investment professionals
- Assists with development and completion of quantitative research projects
- Assist portfolio management team in fundamental and quantitative company research efforts
- Maintains a working knowledge of compliance policies and procedures and abides by them while fulfilling this position’s various responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg terminal; Bloomberg Certification is a plus
- Knowledge of R, Python and SQL are a plus
- General financial concepts and interpretation skills
- Strong decision making, analytical skills and independent judgment
- Extensive computer skills
- Work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
