Our client is a successful, professional services company, recognized as a leader in its industry. This CHRO will be a trusted confidante to the CEO, providing advice and guidance while coaching and influencing the executive team. As an inspirational, hands-on leader and steward of organizational culture, the Head of HR will work closely with the HR team, enhancing its capabilities at addressing the HR company’s needs.
About the Role - Demonstrated background in mentoring and talent development. Demonstrated ability to create and implement impactful HR programs and initiatives on an enterprise-wide scale including performance management, leadership development, change management, succession planning, talent acquisition, and compensation and benefits, aligning all the HR levers to foster an engaged high performing workforce. Ideally the candidate has a blend of big company best practices combined with working in a small rapidly changing organization. A strong mix of business skills and human resources expertise. Experience working with a large distribution workforce is required.
Required experience
- Adept at working with a variety of organizational leaders to build consensus around HR strategy and tactics, and organizational effectiveness.
- Demonstrated background in mentoring and talent development.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement impactful HR programs and initiatives on an enterprise-wide scale including performance management, leadership development, change management, succession planning, talent acquisition, coaching/mentoring, policy development, and compensation and benefits management.
- Strong ability to align key HR levers to foster an engaged high performing workforce.
- Ideally, possess a blend of big or middle-market company best practice experiences, combined with having also worked in a rapidly evolving middle-market organization.
- Demonstrated success in coaching and advising a President and/or CEO on an ongoing basis, resulting in a bona fide business partnership.
- Deep Employee Relations experience
- Minimum of 15 years HR leadership experience
