This is a single class position currently under direction of the Administrative Officer. The Business License Officer will perform a variety of technical duties in the processing and approval of business licenses and permits, conduct inspections of new and existing businesses and properties, issue citations to violations, attend court proceedings, assist in the recording of real estate transfer tax; and provide assistance and support to the Development Services Department. Two years of increasingly responsible experience in working in licensing in a municipal government and possession or ability to obtain ICC for Property Maintenance within six (6) months of employment.
