Job Summary:
The Human Resource/Payroll Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resource/Payroll department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource & payroll files, records and documentation.
· Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees
· Provides clerical support to the HR & Payroll department.
· Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
· Prior related office experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work Schedule
· Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
