About the Role
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Retail RPO Manager to lead recruitment delivery for a major retail client. Based in Plano, TX, this is a hybrid leadership role requiring 4 days per week onsite. The ideal candidate has a strong background in high-volume retail hiring, team leadership, and client-facing RPO environments. This is both a strategic and hands-on position responsible for ensuring our recruiting teams meet hiring targets and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting delivery for a high-volume retail account
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and coordinators, driving accountability and results
- Partner directly with client stakeholders (HR, Operations, Talent Acquisition) to forecast hiring needs and plan accordingly
- Manage SLAs, KPIs, and all recruitment operations to ensure consistent service delivery
- Provide weekly performance reporting and insight to internal and client leadership
- Monitor candidate pipeline health and hiring funnels, ensuring strong candidate experience
- Ensure all activity complies with client processes, systems (ATS), and employment law
- Identify and implement process improvements to scale and optimize delivery
- Participate in recruiting when needed to support urgent openings or team bandwidth
Schedule & Location
- Hybrid Schedule: 4 days per week onsite in Plano, TX; 1 day remote
- Must be available to work on-site at Wheeler or client office based on need
- Occasional flexibility required for hiring events or client meetings
Requirements
- 4+ years of recruitment experience, including 2+ years in RPO, retail, or high-volume hiring
- Experience managing or leading recruiting teams
- Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and maintain client relationships
- Strong communication and performance management skills
- Proficient in ATS platforms (Workday, BrassRing, Greenhouse, etc.)
- Organized, data-driven, and capable of meeting high delivery standards in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large national or franchise-based retail organizations
- Previous involvement in seasonal hiring strategies and workforce planning
- Knowledge of recruiting analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
