We would like someone who can analyze residential and commercial Real Estate servicing data and can build databases/reports and query the data to analyze it for trends and or problems.
They have to be able to communicate with the members and solve their data issues
We are looking for a Collateral Operations Analysts for our Credit & Collateral Risk Management team. The Collateral Operations Analysts will be responsible for providing analytical research and support required for the processing of member mortgage collateral update (MCU) files and assist with code and formatting updates, assisting customers and vendors with technical questions regarding mortgage collateral update (MCU) files and provide problem resolution. In this position the candidate will provide operational assistance as needed in the Collateral Operations Department, including system operation oversight, member profile and collateral maintenance. Support all collateral operation functions relating to daily reconciliation and balancing of collateral holdings by collateral types. Perform vault custody duties as assigned for all pledged collateral and assist with securities and mortgage pledge processing in a timely manner
- Support programming mortgage collateral updates for data fields mapped to the Mortgage Collateral Management (MCU) system.
- Monitor collateral updates and troubleshoot and assist customers with MCU data file errors, corrections, and data mapping requirements.
- Assist internal business units regarding collateral data inquiries.
- Communicate with members to ensure receipt of required collateral data and information.
- Provide Customer Service support regarding the member portal access and other system issues encountered by the member.
- Provide project management support and JIRA Board updating and tracking.
- Monitor special requests from customers, internal and external agencies according to department policies and procedures and regulatory requests.
- Assist with the maintenance of department internal systems related to member maintenance, prepayments, margin updates, mergers, acquisitions, and terminations.
- Assist with UAT testing of programs and systems to validate data integrity and user acceptance criteria.
- Perform daily securities pledge and release transactions. Assist with the curing of mortgage and security related collateral deficiencies.
- Query and Access data and maintain records and files in accordance with the department’s policies and procedures and record retention policies.
- Assist with processing uniform commercial code (UCC) filings and Intercreditor Agreements with the Federal Reserve and other external Agencies.
- College degree in Business, Finance, or accounting fields preferred.
- Mortgage Banking work experience preferred.
- Low-level to Mid-level experience, some training will be provided.

- Desired skills: Candidate should have some rudimentary exposure to securities processing and SQL/Power BI. Looking for a candidate with mortgage underwriting exposure i.e. residential and commercial real estate and we would need someone with a little more secondary market exposure with an understanding of loan documentation, loan servicing, UCC-1 filings, etc.
