SNI Financial is seeking a Lease Administration Manager to join our Financial Services client's Accounting division at their corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hybrid role and our client offers excellent benefits and company culture.
The Lease Administrator will report to the Assistant Controller and will be responsible for administration of our client's Lease (primarily for office space) to ensure compliance with lease contract terms and tracking financial obligations for all lease documents.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews monthly lease payments and processes, as well as oversee invoice payments for operational costs relating to our 1,300 + locations around the country.
- Manages and supervises a team of three direct reports in the day-to-day performance to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulations and corporate policies, handles performance reviews and continual staff training as needed.
- Abstract all commercial lease documents (new leases, renewals, amendments, and subleases) ensuring accurate and efficient documentation into our lease portfolio management tool.
- Review and processes monthly rent invoices and reconcile annual rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) recovery charges ensuring that expenses are accurate.
- Prepares and compiles a variety of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for internal stakeholders, handling lease-related queries from internal teams and landlords.
- Reviews, processes, and maintains all pertinent data related to leased aviation assets.
- Maintain lease administration software to track lease terms, rent escalations, other critical dates and other leasing metrics.
- Monitors and communicates key dates such as lease expirations, insurance renewals, commencements, and rent increases to internal stakeholders.
- Be an integral part of the accounting, administrative, and legal requirements normally associated with a real estate portfolio.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, property management or a related field(s).
- Requires 5+ years of experience in a lease administration or property management.
- Resource management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of lease terminology and documentation.
- Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills.
- Management experience is a MUST have requirement
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in lease administration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
