Compensation: $280,000 - $300,000 + Bonus & Benefits
About the Role:
JL Partners is seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President of Development & Construction to lead large-scale residential, high-rise, and multi-family developments in the Dallas market working for a top-ranked development firm with over 2,000 employees across the US.
The right executive will oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from pre-development through construction completion, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies for large-scale residential, high-rise, and multi-family projects.
- Project Oversight: Manage development, design, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, proformas, and financial models to drive profitability and cost efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with investors, city officials, design teams, and general contractors to align project goals with market demands.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in real estate development and construction, with a focus on large-scale multi-family, high-rise, and mixed-use projects.
- Proven track record of delivering $100M+ projects in major urban markets.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost controls, and ROI analysis.
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and permitting processes.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
