A property management company is seeking an Asset Manager to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This position is responsible for managing property assets, maximizing returns, and ensuring efficient operations. A bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, 5 years of experience in asset management (residential multi-family), and experience with financial modeling are required. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position, plus bonus, excellent benefits.
Asset Manager Duties:
-Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize property value and NOI.
-Monitor market trends and conduct financial analysis to support existing and new investment decisions.
-Making and reviewing cash flow and financial models of potential investment properties.
-Oversee leasing activities, tenant relationships, and contract negotiations with Asset management and Property management companies.
-Coordinate with asset management and property management teams to ensure optimal operations and maintenance.
-Business trip around US cities to see onsite inspections for our real estate portfolio and have meetings with AM, PM companies and various business partners.
-Prepare financial reports, budgets, and performance analyses.
-Identify opportunities for property improvements, renovations, and repositioning.
-Manage risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
-Collaborate with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders to align business goals and enhance portfolio performance.
-Report to Japanese VPs (1st appraiser) and US Country Head (2nd appraiser).
-Some travel for business.
Asset Manager Skills:
-Must have a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
-Must have 5 years of experience in asset management (residential multi-family)
-Must have financial modeling experience
-Knowledge of local real estate laws, regulations, and market dynamics
-Ability to manage multiple properties and work collaboratively with various teams include various international staff
-Experience with commercial, residential, or mixed-use properties preferred
