We are seeking an experienced and responsible Administrative Assistant/Secretary to work closely with our General Manager at our exclusive retail boutique. The duties of the Admin Asst include: review and manage all incoming and outgoing emails and calls for GM, maintain customer file system, optimize travel planning, utilize all search engines as necessary, and assisting in other various office tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills. If you have previous experience as an administrative assistant or secretary and familiarity with the retail fashion industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, the successful Admin Asst will be an active participant in the day-to-day operation of our back-of-the-house environment.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls
Handle incoming and outgoing emails for GM
Maintain customer filing system and contact lists
Travel optimization
Address special orders based with GM's guidance.

Skills

Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Self-starter; excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Cheerful demeanor, extraordinary neatness. and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
High School degree required
Bi-lingual a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
