The Role:
RSN Property Group seeks an experienced Asset Management expert reporting to the Head of Asset Management. We are seeking an experienced and driven Asset Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of our rapidly growing multifamily portfolio. This role is crucial in ensuring that our properties are managed efficiently, deliver excellent returns, and continue to grow in value. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years in property management or 3 years in asset management, specifically within multifamily real estate.
The role offers a total compensation of $70k—$90k and a clear pathway to performance-based ownership in new deals, bonuses, and other perks associated with a highly successful, tight-knit company. We place a significant emphasis on professional growth and work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
As our Asset Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Portfolio Oversight: Manage and monitor a portfolio of multifamily properties, ensuring they meet performance and financial targets.
- Financial Performance: Analyze property financials, prepare reports, and develop strategies to maximize income and control expenses.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Create and maintain operating budgets, forecasts, and asset plans.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with key partners to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply and services.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure properties are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations and manage risk factors effectively.
- Tenant Relations & Retention: Oversee strategies to maintain high occupancy and retention rates while fostering positive tenant relationships.
Requirements:
The perfect candidate will have:
- An entrepreneurial mindset with skills, abilities, and personality traits that align with our culture and values.
- 6+ years in property management or 3+ years in asset management, ideally within multifamily real estate. (Someone from the property management industry would be ideal as this role will require a lot of interface between the third party managers we have across the portfolio).
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardie, App folio, Entrata or similar), and financial modeling tools (such as Microsoft Excel).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with multifamily market trends and real estate regulations.
- An understanding of real estate, finance, investments, and the economy.
- Experience working remotely and within start-ups or small organizations.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
Additional Details:
This full-time position can be performed remotely, with roughly 20% travel required for:
- Onsite interactions with property management, vendors, etc
- Twice-yearly corporate retreats (Miami, NYC, international destinations, etc)
- Other travel business needs dictate
You will need to be within 1 hour of a major airport. Ideally located in the sunbelt region.
