Job Title: HR Generalist
Work Location: 3060 Kimball Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA - (Hybrid Work - 3 to 4 days from office, 1-2 from home)
Job Summary
The Human Resource Generalist will support the daily operations of the Human Resource (HR) department including administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Duties
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation and employee recognition programs, as well as offboarding
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Oversee general administrative activities of the office, leased properties, and vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
