The Leasing Coordinator will work remote and must reside in the Tampa Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates and leads all real estate transactions for new tenant leases, current tenant expansions, and current tenant relocations, from lease negotiation through occupancy, within health system-owned assets, resulting in increased occupancy rates and revenue growth within a diverse real estate portfolio of over 50 properties (both on and off hospital campuses), encompassing more than 3 million square feet.
- Develops and implements strategic leasing initiatives.
- Collaborates with the finance team to ensure all leasing terms are in line with projected building returns.
- Reviews all appraisal data to ensure all leasing teams are and remain compliant with applicable regulations (i.e., Stark Law and Anti-Kickback).
- Collaborates with the business development and marketing teams to source new tenant relationships and to market available space.
- Compiles, analyzes and presents leasing activity reports to ensure applicable individuals continue to stay informed of leasing activities.
- Utilizes, leverages and ensures all marketing websites and other marketing avenues to maximize visibility and attract potential tenants to ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads for the health system’s portfolio.
- Schedules and conducts property tours to effectively showcase the unique benefits to prospects.
- Gathers, analyzes and uses current and relevant industry and market-specific information to ensure that the health system stays informed of trends, developments and opportunities within the real estate industry.
- Works on other real estate projects (e.g., site searches and negotiations for properties being leased or purchased by the health system) and other duties as assigned.
- Travel and after-hours work are required.
- Strong understanding of Yardi functionality.
Requirements
- Required : Bachelor's degree and 7 years of Commercial Real Estate leasing experience.
- Required : Real Estate License OR MBA OR JD, OR Master's in real estate or equivalent.
- Required education: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, and/or Real Estate related.
- Required experience - 7 years of Commercial Real Estate Leasing.
- Preferred
- 7 years Healthcare Real Estate Leasing.
