Executive Real Estate & Investment Analyst (Full-Time, $80K Salary)
Location: Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $80,000/year + potential for performance-based bonuses
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
I am looking for a highly driven and proactive right-hand person—someone who will act as my No. 2 and play a pivotal role in my real estate brokerage and investment business. The ideal candidate has a strong real estate and financial background, can generate brokerage/transaction leads, and is capable of sourcing, analyzing, and structuring off-market and on-market investment deals.
This is not a simple assistant role—I need someone with the intelligence, energy, and ambition of a business partner, but who thrives in a structured, execution-driven environment. The role will also include some personal support and administrative work to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, but the core focus is business generation and deal execution.
If you are an ambitious, analytical, and strategic thinker who wants to gain direct, hands-on experience in real estate investment, brokerage, and deal-making, this could be a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
Real Estate Lead Generation & Transaction Support (Primary Focus)
- Generate new real estate leads for brokerage and investment deals by sourcing buyers, sellers, and off-market opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, investors, and property owners to identify transaction opportunities.
- Field inbound calls and emails from brokers and agents, screening deals and sifting through opportunities.
- Assist with listing and leasing activities, including property showings and client interactions.
- Manage CRM systems, ensuring follow-ups and pipeline tracking for all potential transactions.
Investment Sourcing & Deal Analysis (Primary Focus)
- Proactively source off-market and distressed property deals that meet my investment criteria.
- Analyze financials, assess deal feasibility, and model investment returns.
- Conduct market research and underwriting for multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial properties.
- Communicate with brokers, wholesalers, and property owners to negotiate and structure deals.
- Stay updated on real estate and economic trends, identifying new investment strategies.
Administrative & Personal Support (Tertiary Focus)
- Handle high-level administrative tasks such as email and calendar management.
- Coordinate with accountants, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth business and household operations.
- Run occasional personal and business-related errands as needed.
- Manage basic financial tracking, bill payments, and record-keeping.
Who You Are
- A Deal Maker – You have a nose for good real estate opportunities and can evaluate potential transactions critically.
- Proactive & Results-Oriented – You don’t wait for tasks; you actively seek out ways to grow the business and increase deal flow.
- Financially & Analytically Sharp – You are comfortable with financial modeling, underwriting, and deal analysis.
- Well-Connected or Willing to Build a Network – You can cultivate relationships with brokers, investors, and property owners to generate leads.
- Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented – You keep track of deals, schedules, and priorities without missing a beat.
- Trustworthy & Discreet – You will handle sensitive business and financial information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Resourceful & Adaptable – You can think on your feet and solve problems efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in real estate brokerage, investment analysis, or acquisitions.
- Strong understanding of real estate deal structures, financial analysis, and market trends.
- Ability to source off-market properties and investment opportunities.
- Experience with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and financial modeling tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Compensation & Growth Opportunity
- Base Salary: $80,000/year
- Performance-based bonuses for successful transactions and deal sourcing
- Hybrid work environment—mostly remote but must be available for in-person meetings, showings, and deal evaluations in Santa Monica & Los Angeles.
- Clear pathway for career growth—this role is structured for someone who wants to build deep experience in real estate investing and deal-making.
Why This Role is Different
This is not just an assistant position—it’s an opportunity to be deeply involved in deal flow, transaction execution, and investment strategy. I need someone with the hunger and mindset of an entrepreneur who thrives on finding, evaluating, and closing deals.
