Position Summary
The Real Estate Project Coordinator role is to effectively design and create solutions for our 60+ Distribution Centers across the United States. The role manages projects to ensure new location and retrofit changes are completed in a timely manner from start to finish. This role uses project management skills, contractor and vendor relationship skills, budgeting skills, and data analysis. The project managers work in conjunction with our distribution center managers and communicates regularly with both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Manages and completes assigned projects within the defined budget during the defined time specified.
- Manages and directs all details involved in an opening or moving of a distribution center.
- Assists with commercial real estate lease negotiations and terms.
- Participates in capital spending budget review process.
- Negotiates and analyzes service contracts and agreements.
- Manages space allocation.
- Creates creative solutions for facility opportunities.
- Manages utilities, vendors and contractors working in distribution centers.
- Supports lease administration database for tracking lease data and costs.
- Tracks maintenance programs.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate management, business, related field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- 3-5+ years’ experience in related field
- Experience working and managing projects
- Supervisory skills and strong communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Judgment and problem-solving and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
