Role Description
This is a role for an apprentice that wants to start a career in Real Estate. The Real Estate Apprentice will start with the preparation to complete the Real Estate Courses and the State examination necessary to get the Real Estate Agent license by the Department of Real Estate of California, tutored by the Broker/Owner. The apprentice will only pay for the courses at an online Real Estate School of his/her choice and the examination and licensing fees. The tutoring will be provided by the company for free. When the apprentice obtains their Real Estate Agent License, he/she will start working at Homes Chula Vista as a Real Estate Agent, with a contract of Independent Contractor on comission of sales, being trained and supervised directly by the Broker/Owner. As an agent, he/she will set their own agenda and hours, on a remote basis (work from home) but it's a requisite to live in San Diego County. Over time as the agent acquires expertise, the commission percentage of the sales will increase as well as his/her autonomy in conducting business with minimum supervision.
Qualifications/Knowledge
- Required : Minimum degree of High School Diploma. Additional Education will be a plus.
- Required : Driving license valid in the State of California and own vehicle.
- Languages: Proficient in English required. Spanish and any other languages would be a plus.
- NO EXPERIENCE required. Experience in other industries on sales and customer service roles will be valued.

This position is on an Independent Contractor basis. Before being able to sell properties, the apprentice will need to get the Real Estate Salesperson License. The pay will be on commission at the close of escrow of the properties sold. Just as an indication typically starting around $3500 per deal in the beginning, and it will increase as the agent acquires maturity and independence in the role. It typically takes minimum 6 months from the moment the apprentice gets the Agent license to start earning commissions. The limit of $120,000 per year is an indication of the gross income selling 3 properties per month. This job is fully flexible and fully compatible with other simultaneous jobs or studies .
