Job Description:
1. Seek prospective tenants through cold-calling, networking, and social media.
2. Show & lease shopping center spaces in the Los Angeles, San Bernardino-Riverside areas and other future areas, as assigned.
3. Perform canvassing by driving specific commercial streets and visiting potential storeowners to market available retail spaces.
4. Send email blasts (via Mail Chimp) for available space to potential retailers.
5. Follow-up leads and potential tenants’ deals until signed & opened.
6. Focus on leasing assigned retail spaces in the shopping centers.
7. Report to V.P. of Leasing, at least once a week, on progress of each lead.
8. Handle inbound inquiries and generate potential tenants.
9. Participate in national and regional trade shows, as requested.
Qualifications:
1. Sales ability a must. Sales experience helpful. (Retail or business account development).
2. Understanding of the leasing process and applicable real estate laws.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
4. Strong interest in commercial/retail real estate leasing.
5. Familiar with the Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, and Inland Empire (San Bernardino/Riverside) areas.
6. Driver’s license and a car (gas reimbursed).
7. Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
8. Highly energetic & aggressive self-starter. Written and verbal skills should be excellent, combined with a teamwork personality and a drive for personal success.
RE License NOT required for this position.
Compensation for this position is in the form of a base salary plus commission for each lease signed.
