About the Role:

As our Creative & Tech-Savvy Office Assistant, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our practice flowing. From organizing digital records and handling scheduling, to helping new parents feel welcomed and supported—your role is equal parts tech, admin, and heart. This position is ideal for someone who’s an independent self-starter, eager to learn, and aligned with our values of compassion, clarity, and care.

What You’ll Do:

Support our team of lactation consultants with scheduling, emails, and follow-ups
Manage and organize digital files using cloud-based platforms
Assist with client communication in a timely, warm, and professional way
Help maintain intake forms, consent paperwork, and other digital documentation
Coordinate virtual and in-person appointments using scheduling software
Troubleshoot basic tech issues and help keep tools running smoothly
Support creative tasks—like updating handouts, forms, or newsletters
Take initiative on improvements and anticipate team needs before we ask

A warm communicator who understands the sensitive nature of working with new parents
Organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
Curious, creative, and always willing to learn something new
A self-starter who loves being part of a mission-driven team
Comfortable working independently at home and collaboratively in-office

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus)
Prior administrative or assistant experience, preferably in a health or client care setting
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and general office software
Familiarity with scheduling platforms and video conferencing tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Discretion and compassion when handling sensitive health information

Bonus If You Have:

Experience working with families, in women’s health, or with wellness providers
Light familiarity with HIPAA, client confidentiality, or EHR systems
Skills in Canva, Zapier, Facebook, Instagram, or other creative tools

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
